v1.0.1
Endless Vanguard » Devlog
Fixed
- Dodge rolls get confused with the NavMesh location, causing a rubberbanding effect. I resolved this issue by fixing the rolling mechanic and reworking the NavMesh.
- Monsters that need to touch you to deal damage, were doing damage from a further distance than they should. I adjusted the damage distance to be closer to the player.
- Returning to the Main Menu and clicking Play again would cause the Pause feature to stop working. This appears to be an issue with unloading scenes in Unity not removing references, combined the scenes as a temporary fix.
- Odd behavior around the skeleton world model, adjustments to the NavMesh around it have been made.
- Dead zones near the edges of the map, causing the player to get stuck. Reworked the NavMesh to be more accurate to remove these dead zones.
Added
- A dodge cooldown has been added to avoid spamming.
- Dodge meter for showing visually how long before a dodge can be performed again.
- 25% Chance a green healing book can now drop from monsters with abilities.
- Game will now pause when accessing the settings while in-game.
- Hitting "Escape" will now open or close the settings while in-game.
- WASD support added, can toggle between Mouse or WASD in the settings.
- Event notifications now show up at the top of the screen when they're active.
